Who we are

AI Auto Politicians is a programme of Global SafetyWatch, run by Stuart Thompson. The information described here is held by Viseum International Limited, the company he founded, which provides the site and is the data controller for it [until the programme entity is settled]. What we collect, and why

Proposing a question. Your place, your question, the reason you give if you give one, and your email address, so that we can count proposals for a place and tell you when a working group opens. We hold this on the basis of your consent.

Following working groups. Your email address, so that we can tell you when a group opens, when it reports, and what the decision-maker did. Nothing else is sent. We hold this on the basis of your consent.

Taking part in a working group. Your vote and the reason you write. Votes are [anonymous / named]. Reasons are published [without names / with first names, by choice] so that the decision-maker can read them. We hold this on the basis of your consent, and the rule for each group is stated on its page before you vote.

Messages you send us. Your name, email and message, so we can reply. We hold this on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering you.

Technical information. Our host keeps basic security logs. The site uses the cookies needed to run and speed up the page and the cookie that records your own cookie choice. The site carries no advertising cookies.

Who we share it with

We never sell, rent or share your details, and we never pass them to any political party, candidate, campaign, council, MP or platform. A published result contains counts and reasons, never a list of who took part. Viseum International Limited holds the information because it provides the site, and may not use it for any purpose of its own. A small number of providers process data on our behalf and only on our instructions: our website host, our email provider, and [the service that runs working group votes, once chosen]. Each is bound to keep it secure and to use it only as we instruct.

How long we keep it

We keep your email until you unsubscribe, and then we delete it. We keep a proposal until the working group it belongs to has reported and the response has been recorded, and then we keep only the published page. We keep messages you send only while they are relevant.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive a copy, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Email [email] and we will act within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

We will update this notice whenever the programme changes what it collects. This programme is not connected to any political party and does not support or oppose any party or candidate. Nothing on this site is legal advice.
