Abuse of power
On 06/07/2018, this family went to their MP about their child (PersonA) being coerced by multiple agencies under this politician’s responsibility. This politician said, “You have done what you can, you have worked very hard, and this is now in my hands to help your child.”
But, on 07/09/2018 this MP confronted this family with false statements and defended each accusation. The MP then said, “I may be wrong, and your child is not living with you because they have been mistreated.”
Repeated calls for help ignored
Responsible constituents go to their politicians when they have experienced problems and have nowhere else to call for help. This politician did nothing to help this family’s complaint, but everything to help Bexley Council defend it. One year passed with PersonA considering suicide many times and their parents repeatedly asking this politician to help. These calls for help were ignored.
On 13/09/2019, this family proved to their politician that their legal action and publicity was working. But PersonA was still living in the home that Bexley Council deemed unsafe. This politician replied, “You feel you have been let down by the council and I share that view.” This politician agreed they were misled by Bexley Council over a year ago in 2018. They also agreed that their one sole action in May 2019 prevented the school from coercing PersonA. This delivered immediate successful results that we proudly call Pier to Prom.
It is public record how this MP’s one sole action proved this family’s case. This family’s plan to convince the politician to do this came from the Metropolitan Police. It produced court-quality evidence of how Bexley Council was orchestrating this coercive abuse of PersonA.
